We are looking to add an Instrumentation & Controls Discipline Lead to either our Saskatoon or Regina office. Reporting to the Director, Engineering, the Instrumentation & Controls Discipline Lead is responsible for taking a lead role in the planning and design of major Instrumentation and Controls projects within the mining and other heavy industrial industries. In addition, this role would also be responsible for business development as well as providing leadership and mentorship to others within the discipline.
As the Discipline Lead, you will work closely with clients through the full project life cycle from initial site visits and client meetings all the way through to the completion of the project deliverables.
Your superior leadership and mentorship skills will ensure the success and growth of the Instrumentation & Controls Discipline. Well-developed communication skills are required to work closely with Project Managers and other Discipline Leads as well as when working with clients to develop, maintain and build relationships. You bring a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering coupled with licensing by APEGS (or other provincial equivalent) and a minimum of 10 years of related experience with extensive knowledge of relevant codes and industry best practices. Previous leadership and business development experience would be highly beneficial. Current relationships with organizations in the mining field would be considered an asset.
